INTRODUCTION
Cabbage, an essential plant on the allotment for any autumn or winter production schedule. Late cabbage is usually split into two groups, the usual round type or the more crinkled Savoy.
All Cabbage types and varieties are highly nutritious and particularly high in fibre, beta-carotene, vitamin C and vitamin K.
Cabbage is a versatile vegetable and can be eaten either cooked or raw. It is usually the main ingredient in coleslaw.
