Carol has planted up willow beds in a corner of the farm and the varieties of willow that she uses give wonderful colours to her baskets.  Colours may vary according to the variety of willow used and she also buys willow from the Somerset Levels to supplement her crop. I was searching for a change of direction and looking for a profession, which I hoped would give me more freedom and, after five years on the oil rigs, one which I also hoped would have less of an impact on the environment.
