Welcome to GrowMad...
Welcome to GrowMad, your website for everything allotment and kitchen garden-related. If GrowMad doesn't have what you’re searching for, you probably won’t be needing it.
First and foremost, this site is dedicated to my father, Ronnie. What he didn't know about 'growing your own' isn't worth bothering with. He was always my North Star, my guiding light and always set me straight if I lost course with my growing endeavours. His name will appear throughout this site.
GrowMad was conceived out of frustration for not being able to gather all the required information from just one website or a single book from the bookshelf.
There are many very great vegetable-growing websites out there and literally thousands of well-written books available, but wouldn't it be refreshing to have one vegetable gardening website where everything you could possibly require was available in just one place?
Well, we hope in time GrowMad will become just that. GrowMad is quite simply an 'eat as much as you like' veg gardening and allotment smorgasbord buffet.
" Everything the veg gardener wants, absolutely nothing you don't "
This site has been created with the aim of bringing together all of the components to find, organise and run an enjoyable and productive plot, whether an allotment, smallholding or window box.
It is designed for vegetable growers, allotmenteers, smallholders, kitchen gardeners and anybody who is searching for a more sustainable lifestyle. We have started out with you all in mind.
Our intention is to take you from the forecourt of veg gardening and transport you to the sunlit uplands of kitchen garden utopia. We plan to create an 'Artisan multi-seeded' website that stands out from the many 'white-sliced' alternatives.
It is our aim to provide you with all you are ever likely to need on your vegetable growing journey and plan to constantly develop and update all sections bringing to you what is new and trending.
You will be able to follow everything that goes on in the GrowMad world by either logging in on a regular basis or by following and subscribing to our social media platforms. Also, we are currently producing videos allowing you to follow progress at our smallholding on a week-to-week basis throughout the seasons at the Brookfield Video Diaries.
| So, What is GrowMad all about?
