on the Allotment
Spring
May is my favourite month by far. Everything is green, lush and looking new. We just love this time of year.
The weather is usually warm, the days are long and so much work can be achieved. By this point in the season, the greenhouse and polytunnel should be rammed and fully planted, outdoor beds growing away and fruit starting to set on bushes and trees.
May is a busy month on the allotment with so much to keep an eye on and take care of.
